West Bank School was originally opened in 1877.  The school serves the community of West Bank, situated on the northern bank of the River Mersey where the Silver Jubilee Bridge crosses the Runcorn Gap.  The school caters for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years of age.  It boasts its own learner swimming pool and a nursery.
